Brief
This project centers on the enduring public interest in “supernatural phenomena” and “mystical cultures” within the Chinese-speaking world. It involves planning and producing a themed video series with episodes such as Urban Ghost Stories and Deconstructing the Mermaid Myth, focusing respectively on modern urban legends and cross-cultural explorations of mythical creatures.
Creative Approach
The videos feature live hosts combined with immersive scene atmosphere design to enhance viewer engagement. Through multi-dimensional collaboration in scripting, visual styling, editing rhythm, and narrative tone, the project presents a reinterpretation of traditional myths through a contemporary Eastern lens.
Efforts were also made to establish a consistent visual identity across the account, strengthening brand recognition and laying the foundation for future IP-based content development. Themes are derived from real-world trending topics, film culture, and classical mythology, with each episode built around a “Question–Argument–Expansion” narrative structure to extract coherent storylines and meaningful discussion points.
